    Description

TrueLight circadian lighting is designed to mimic the natural rise and fall of the sun during an approximate 24-hour period. Powered by BIOS technology, the TrueLight Circadia Bulb is unique in that it offers day-to-night dimmable output and communicates directly with human circadian biology through nonvisual photoreceptors in the eyes to help regulate your circadian rhythm.  The daytime setting is ideal for creating a stimulating and comfortable environment so that you can focus and perform your best. The night time setting emits warmer tones that are well-suited for nighttime when your body needs more melatonin to sleep.

Inspired by Nature. Powered by Game-Changing Technology.

Your home is your sanctuary, and now more than ever you’re spending more time inside of it.  More time at home means even more exposure to artificial junk light from lighting fixtures and harsh LED screens — that is, until now. The latest addition to the TrueLight® product lineup is a patented lighting solution that emits specific wavelengths of light to entrain your circadian rhythms, as nature intended. This very same technology was originally developed to light up International Space Station. Now,  TrueLight® is exclusively bringing it you and your family so that your sanctuary can be place of peace, not stress.

    How it Works

The all new TrueLight Circadia light bulb, powered by BIOS SkyBlue LED technology, emits Human Compatible color temperatures that provide the same circadian benefits of the sun during a 24-hour period.

During the daytime, it infuses the critical sky-blue spectrum (490nm) to increase alertness, improve focus and boost your mood. For your safety, the SkyBlue technology emits minimal light in the blue light hazard region associated with retinal injury.

At nighttime, the TrueLight Circadia™ bulb has a dimmable capability that removes the sky-blue spectrum and creates a warmer atmosphere that promotes natural melatonin production and better sleep.

Circadian Light is a Healthy Stimulant

Natural sunlight consists of the full visible light spectrum, including red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet light.  Blue-enriched light, in particular, is responsible for promoting alertness and productivity during the daytime.  When light enters the eyes, photosensitive rods and cones in the back of the retinas send signals via neuropathways to the brain to help regulate your circadian rhythm and balance your hormone production.

    Circadian Light Improves Sleep Quality

As the sun falls below the horizon each night, the body naturally starts producing more melatonin – the key ingredient for helping you fall and stay asleep.  Dimming the lights, or using warmer temperature bulbs at night, is a simple yet effective way to live in harmony with technology and support your circadian rhythm.

Circadian Light Improves Health and Well-being

As the name suggests, circadian lighting is specifically designed to support the body’s natural 24-hour body clock. Research has consistently shown that that long-term exposure to certain wavelengths of blue light at specific intensities can have a negative impact on melatonin production. Over time, lack of sleep can then lead to several potential health concerns, including but not limited to: mood disorders, weight gain, diabetes, heart disease, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and even cancer.  Circadian lighting empowers people to take more control of the light around them so that they can stay healthy and thrive in the modern age.
